Balance is important. Your website should be both aesthetic and functional. Sharp graphics are of no use if a site is cumbersome to navigate. Vice versa, a squeaky clean site that is easy to traverse, but offers little stimulation to web-weary eyes will result in ADBD (Attention Deficit Browsing Disorder).
